The Studio Assistant supports the daily operations of Anyhow Studio by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace for students, members, and instructors. This role oversees Drop-In Studio students, and assists with clay reclaim, kiln unloading, equipment maintenance, and general studio support. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a creative environment and is comfortable with hands-on tasks.
Studio Assistant Qualifications:
Have a passion for ceramics, or studio arts preferred
Basic knowledge of clay studio practices is helpful but not required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (clay bags, dry materials, kiln shelves, etc.)
Ability to work independently and stay organized
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working in a studio environment that may involve dust, clay, and water
